A glance into the mind...

"This, my private mythology."

It is the purpose of any texture of my creativity–but here we will focus on writing– to take the world into the cradle of my mind's eye, and gaze at it until I decipher all its secrets and discern all its intricacies. In looking at everything a second time, holding every piece closer to the eye of study and therefore the heart, time stills for me to unearth life’s hidden languages and find meaning in those depths.

Crafting stories that are introspective and focused on interpersonal relationships are to me, like Odysseus' sirens of ancient myth. They call to me. Who can truly know the heart? No one, but that is all the more reason to explore humanity and my own self, through the fictitious motivations of characters I know and hold dear.

You will find, wanderer, the main focus of my writing is Mel Medarda, from the show Arcane: League of Legends—her relationship with her family, the Medardas, her country of Noxus, love and power and mortality—every work being a deep dive into her character. As for other themes, you will find, I am sure the specific ones that bleed into my writing unbidden.

Studying the lifecycle of lovers and exploring thematic parallels and symbolisms. Stay tuned for all her adventures as a hobbyist writer.

Mel Medarda returns to Noxus. This story covers her rise to power among the Noxian elite, as her struggle with morality, compassion, and mercy in a society that has no respect for these things. WCtW is a character study, focusing largely on Mel's relationship to power, family, and her identity.
In which Mel comes to realize that the lamb is also the wolf.

Jayce reappears in Piltover, having defended tomorrow. With the Herald vanquished, and Ambessa finally gone back to Noxus, he is left to rebuild the city with Ekko working at his side.
Mel is ostracized by the council and the city, not only the daughter of a warlord but also a mage, she is twice damned and in hiding. But when the city passes a law to save future generations, the two former lovers find themselves joined together once more.

And Forth into the Future

The way in which I desire to do so is, of course, mainly introspective character studies, heavy in melancholy & bittersweetness. Some of them may be non-linear, misty with hazy narrative, and ephemeral in nature. And there will be the heavy narrative, that hits the heart like a stone fashioned without hands. I imagine the latter will be more long-form in which I can collect many themes. These stories will be an exploration in intimacy between characters, intense emotionally charged dynamics—the most intense & secret kind that double as a deep relationship. The manner of relationships that will never leave one untouched by its all-consuming intensity, whether for better or worse. And on the way, characters will experience angst, tortuous yearning, consuming desire, relentless devotion, obsession, codependency, reckless loyalty, prohibited lust, and social taboo. But most of all, devotion.

The purpose of thie webpage is, largely, to serve as a hub for my presence on the ever widening abyss of the internet. A lighthouse of sorts, and a haven and reprieve for those who should seek it. Additionally, private mythologies serves as an archive for all of my fanfiction. The aim to produce a fully functioning archive that remains currect and functional despite my withdrawal from Archive of Our Own & SquidgeWorld.
